INO AND SISTER SECTIONS IN INDIA
The INDIAN NATIONAL ORGANISATION (INO) is the coordinating body of the four formal TI ordained sections in India, NISTI, WISTI, EISTI and SISTI, respectively representing geographical jurisdictions in North, West, East and South India, jurisdictions being framed by Textile Institute.

Currently, INO functions under a system of rules framed by Textile Institute. It is chaired by Dr S K Chaudhuri , Vice-Chairman, World Council of TI and has Mr T B Roy, retired textile executive of NTC for Honorary Secretary. The Executive Council is composed of the Chairmen and Hon. Secretaries of the four sections.

An SIG of Textile Institute on Technical Textiles is established under INO and is operated by WISTI in its behalf.
